CURRENT THEORY

I cod have hired someone, or used a machine, both of which would have likely been faster, yet, much less satisfying.

5 hours of moving gravel from one location, to another. 50 trips. Loading the barrow, unloading the barrow. On repeat. What was interesting was not only the immediate appreciation of a body that wasn’t hardened to the work, but also how enjoyable the pain was, both during and after.

A combination of troubleshooting through how to make the process as efficient as possible, while allowing the mind to wander to other life questions unanswered and doing so while utilising muscles and movements that are conical of a normal day.
